The Tales of the Kosmic Monkey is an original on going project by multidisciplinary artist Bastián de Luka, blending music with cinematic storytelling.
Presented as an immersive screening and live music act, this unique show invites audiences into a dreamlike journey through forgotten landscapes, mythic spaces, and inner worlds, guided by Bastian, a mysterious traveler and symbol of playful wisdom and transformation.
In this one of a kind format, Bastián performs a fully live music set, composed entirely of his own productions, joined by singer Pascale Caristo, and guitarist Carreyo, while his original films unfold on screen.
The result is a fully synced, deeply emotional experience where visuals and sound flow as one, with Bastián triggering sequences, and shaping the sonic landscape in real time, responding to both the images and the energy of the space.
The Tales of the Kosmic Monkey has been presented in intimate venues and festivals, including Crania, Bahidora, Gardens of Babylon, Burning Man, Nomade Tulum, Radio Tulum, Foro Hydra, Harmony Tulum, Cine Tonala Cdmx, Huerto Roma Verde, and in many art theaters, film festivals and community centers...

Live Music Screening
Bastián de Luka draws on a wide palette of influences. Classically trained from a young age, with a passion for Jazz and black influenced grooves, his interest in tribal and electronic music shapes his sound and style into a warm and textured collage of past, present and beyond, genre-less in its nature and ever immersive.
Pascale Caristo is a humanitarian and evolutionary artist who channels with her voice an Akashic experience devoted to Oneness Consciousness. She elevates the frequencies and vibrations into a transformational cosmic collective resonance, in which the expression of life becomes Art in every form..She is the unforgettable voice of places like Goa, Ibiza, Tulum where she has performed over a thousands concerts in her life for the last 30 years
Carreyo is a Panamean musician and virtuose guitarist
He blends soulful melodies with elements of funk, latin, psychedelic, and jazz using loop stations at his live performances. With an international career spanning through Iberoamerica, his talent has been featured on MTV Latin programming.
Together, they take the audience into a musical, visual and narrative journey, alternating from the contemplation to the storytelling.
The Live Music Co-Creation in between the three artists pushes the performance to a sacred level, each performance is truly unique, taking the audience into the most immersive and intimate sensorial experience.

Aterrizó, bueno... se estrelló el 13 de agosto de 2017 y encontró a Polo, un viejo Dodge oxidado abandonado de 1991. Desde entonces, conduciendo por caminos olvidados y prohibidos, busca lo sagrado y comparte la sabiduría como un Trovador Cósmico. Bastián es un Viajero Enmascarado. Nómada, Músico, Observador, Bailarín y Espectador. Es "filosóficamente hablando" un intermediario de ideas. Él cree en el Todo y en la Nada. Él es paz, abierto a todas las realidades y posibilidades. Él es animista y es el niño interior. Siempre tiene su índice apuntando al cielo. ¿Por qué? ¡Porque siempre está haciendo preguntas! - Atuendo - Gafas con una raya porque ve demasiado y le ayuda a concentrarse. La proyección al aire libre, durante la noche, de una hermosa serie web en curso llamada "Los Cuentos del Mono Kósmico", que ha recibido numerosos premios en festivales de cine.
La duración de la proyección es de 1 hora y 30 minutos y es para niños y adultos. El artista Bastian de Luka estará presente para realizar una introducción antes de la proyección y un acto de clausura tras la misma.
“Los Cuentos del Mono Kósmico” es una serie compuesta por episodios de 6 minutos, con un total de 16 hasta el momento, aunque el artista continúa produciendo nuevos capítulos.
Esta serie es reconocida por su profundidad filosófica, conexiones históricas y una impresionante calidad visual. Muchos lo consideran el proyecto más bonito de YouTube.
Al proyectar esta serie, los invitados tendrán la oportunidad de sumergirse en un universo único lleno de aventuras, reflejos y belleza visual. Cada episodio es una ventana a un mundo imaginativo y cautivador que estimula la mente y despierta la imaginación.

Bastián de Luka ha sido DJ desde 2003, comenzando con Turntables, VYNILS tocando funk, afrobeats y música electrónica. Durante los últimos 20 años ha recopilado la música más sorprendente de muchos géneros.
